Of monsters and well-being
"Don't be afraid of fear, because you know the feeling will pass." So sings German singer-songwriter Olli Schulz for Elmo, the lovable monster on Sesame Street. But what is behind the fear that has accompanied us all since our earliest childhood? What do psychology and neuroscience tell us about this powerful emotion that can both protect and paralyze us? A journey into the world of childhood emotions that also affect adults.
After the input from psychologist Dorothée Bentz, there will be room for discussion and questions over an aperitif.

With PD Dr. habil. Dorothée Bentz, university lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Basel, psychotherapy researcher, neuroscientist and federally recognized psychotherapist in private practice.
For adults. Museum admission. Registration required by Mon 05.05. 17.00.
