From a monumental building site to an imperial inauguration

On 13 May 1908, Haut-Koenigsbourg was officially inaugurated in the presence of Kaiser Wilhelm II and numerous extras. This day marked the culmination of a vast restoration project on Alsace's most famous fortress.
