Concert
A single family influenced the musical world of the Renaissance like no other: From Venice to London - the Bassanos were instrument makers, musicians and composers. Fittingly, this concert is carried by the sound of the great recorder family. A consort of up to six voices performs music that was composed, recorded and creatively transformed by the Bassanos. With this homage, ReRenaissance offers for the first time a program dedicated entirely to the sound of the recorder family.

It will be played on consort recorders whose construction is based on the historical models. They were brought to England from Italy by the Bassanos themselves and further developed there.

Andreas Böhlen (recorder, conductor), Tabea Schwartz (recorder, conductor)
