On this day when we're celebrating music, we'd be delighted to show you the instruments found in the castle's décor, its archaeology and the archives linked to its history. Haut-Kœnigsbourg has not always resounded to the sound of cannons or iron. Musical instruments have been heard here (a little poetry in this world of brutes), as ancient inventories and archaeology testify. Others crept into the monument's décor during its restoration at the beginning of the last century. We invite you to take a tour of your favourite château, focusing on its historical and ornamental instrumentarium. Reproductions of these types of instrument will be presented to you. Perhaps you'll even be able to play a few notes on these copies of old instruments!
