Sneaker Pharm*, a small, innovative company from Manchester, England, offers pragmatic approaches to demonstrate how old trainers can be easily rejuvenated. Rather than buying new sneakers after the usual wear and tear, participants in this workshop will learn how to clean and repair their old pairs and redesign them using unique fabrics from Vitra’s production. Vincent Tao, founder of Sneaker Pharm, will lead the workshop, providing valuable tips on creating your own sneaker style. The workshop will begin with an introduction to the construction and manufacture of sneakers.
Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to repair damaged shoes, clean them or refresh their design. Please bring an older, if possible damaged, pair of sneakers to participate in the workshop.
The workshop will be held in English.
