With ‘Insanely normal’, the Basel Historical Museum tells the story of psychiatry in Basel over the last 150 years. What seems ‘normal’, ‘not normal’ or ‘crazy’ to us?
Where is the boundary between mentally healthy and mentally ill and how has it has it shifted over the course of time? The exhibition also deals with fundamental questions of psychiatry that still concern us today.
