CONTENT
Until November 3, 2024, the Musée de l'Automobile will host a temporary exhibition featuring a selection of cars from the collection of H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco.
A lover and enthusiast of fine cars, Prince Rainier III built up a considerable private collection of vintage vehicles over more than 40 years, enriched by his son Prince Albert II, some of whose models will be presented for the first time at the Musée National de l'Automobile - Collection Schlumpf in Mulhouse. The collection of H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco, is built around favorites and memories of the dynasty and family life.
The exhibition evokes more than a century of the princely family's history in the light of its passion for automobiles by presenting some twenty cars, including a 1971 Lotus Seven IV, Albert I's first Humber Motorcycle, a rally car and a Formula 1.
The exhibition will return to Monaco, a mecca for motor racing, which still makes it famous today. Large-format photographs and videos will punctuate the journey.
