9th European Quilt Triennial

The Max Berk Textile Collection is once again presenting top-class quilt art in this ninth edition of the European Quilt Triennial. The competition, which is now known beyond Europe, attracted 108 applicants from 16 nations. Some very young female artists and two male participants are among them. A five-member jury will decide which of them will make it into the exhibition. It consists of experts from Germany, Belgium, Poland and Finland and also selects the three prize winners. After the presentation in Heidelberg, the exhibition will travel to the Kreismuseum Zons, the Textile Museum in St. Gallen in Switzerland and Tampere in Finland.
