From egg to chick

With the first heralds of spring in nature, things are also getting underway again at the museum: fluffy chicks hatch from the eggs of rare chicken breeds, delighting long-time fans and winning over new ones. Exciting hands-on stations playfully explain how our consumer behavior affects animal welfare. Tiny and round or big and colorful - children and adults can find out who lays which eggs and whether the Picasso bird really exists by solving puzzles together at the quiz wall. The ethnological collection also presents egg-related festivals and customs.
