Heiko Haschlar: the art of poetic surrealism
Born in 1951 in Marburg, Germany, Heiko Haschlar is a painter whose universe oscillates between dream and reality. Trained at the Bodensee Kunstschule in 1971, he soon began exhibiting internationally, notably at the Zurich Museum of Fine Arts and at Art 4'73 in Basel. His works, in oil or acrylic, explore surrealist mise en abyme with a poetic touch, taking the viewer on a dreamlike journey.
