Happy Cristal - Christmas in Alsace

Ornement de Noël en cristal représentant des hirondelles
This exhibition is available in
French
Happy Cristal returns every December to celebrate the festive season at the Musée Lalique. This event-exhibition is an opportunity to showcase recent creations from the crystal glassworks and bring them to life in settings that invite us to dream and escape.
The 2024 edition is rooted in Alsatian traditions. Christmas is a special time of year, with its own characters and rituals. A hanging Christmas tree will take pride of place at the heart of the exhibition, and the Advent calendar will see its doors open every day from December 1 to 24. Four characters will also inhabit the space without actually being seen: the Gingerbread Man, Christkindel, Hans Trapp and Santa Claus (or could it be St. Nicholas?). The universes will vary according to the personality of the characters, sometimes greedy, bright or, on the contrary, dark and, of course, joyful, like a child opening his presents!
From November 27 to January 5, 2025, the Happy Cristal - Un Noël en Alsace exhibition will be on show free of charge at the Musée Lalique. An event for the whole family!
