The art of graphic art - whether hand drawings or prints - remains an expression of artistic personality. Works on or with paper are an integral, important and complementary part of every collection - including that of the Kunstmuseum Singen. In recent years in particular, many works have been added to the museum as donations, purchases or bequests. They have been conserved and, where necessary, restored for exhibition. These works include works by artists whose oeuvre is one of the focal points of the municipal art collection and which have been shown in exhibitions at the Kunstmuseum Singen, as well as works that were on the list of missing items.
Starting with works by "Höri artists" such as Otto Dix, Max Ackermann, Curth Georg Becker and Erich Heckel, works by other modern and contemporary artists are also on display. The aim of this show is to make this light-sensitive treasure accessible to the public with numerous highlights and discoveries.
