The artist Gökçen Dilek Acay was a Baldreit scholarship holder in 2023/2024. Her work is characterized by its wide range of media and the diverse artistic techniques that she has acquired with immense curiosity. Acay deals with the major social issues: how people interact with each other and with nature. Her works are particularly poetic and use surrealistic elements and alienation to hold up a mirror to the viewer.
