With children's questions as the starting point, the region's natural history will be explained. A significant number of hands-on stations and experiments are planned: children can guess animal tracks, learn about trees or listen to the sounds of the forest in a soft bed of moss.
The study of nature will find its place in the atmospheric exhibition room with its wooden beams and sloping roof, while geology will be in the gallery. Here visitors can find out when the various kinds of stone, mineral and ore developed, where in the region they were mined and what has been produced with them.
