We warmly welcome you in the minerals and fossils museum world of the crystals in Dietingen / Rottweil.
After nearly 2-years of planning and construction time the museum „world of the crystals“ of the family Müller was opened in March, 2011.
In an interesting and also architecturally unusual museum and exhibition building you can marvel at the quite worldwide biggest amethyst druse, a more than 4-m-high and 100 million year old volcanic hollow cavity covered with amethyst crystals, a 220 million year old fossilized forest with original trunks from the Petrified-Forest National Park area in Arizona, many unique fossilized saurian skeletons and other big fossils, as well as impressive gigantic crystals with over 3.000 kg from all over the world.
Watching the documentary film which Mr. Alexander Müller shot during his numerous journeys to mineral deposits in South Brazil, the visitor learns a lot of things about the country and its people as well as about the processing of minerals and crystals.
According to the motto of the Museum „Discover natural miracles, explore the past, experience history and enjoy memorable moments“ , you will get an idea of natural wonders all over the world and you can even buy some souvenirs at the museum shop
Throughout the year, you can attend in the meeting room various conferences on different themes in the fields „minerals and fossils“ and „stone therapy after Gienger”.
We are looking forward to your visit.
