The Uhrenindustriemuseum is located in the centre of Schwenningen, the city that was once described as the largest clock making city of the world. It is considered the oldest clock factory in the region of Wuerttemberg. The Museum of Industrial Clock Making was created at the authentic site, and the historical factory machines were carefully restored and made fully operational again by the erstwhile skilled workers. "To relive industrial history" is the aim of the museum's founders.
The museum is currently closed due to renovation work.
