A short tour for the lunch break:

Whether light bulbs, railroads or cameras: in the 19th century, technology found its way into various areas of people's lives. Everyday life, lifestyles and perceptions changed rapidly. Where paintings had previously been used to depict reality, machines could now capture moments in great detail.

How is this possible? Where did the invention come from? What did it mean for people? And when did the people of Offenburg come to the Salmen to be photographed for the first time?
This short guided tour has the answers!
