Film screening with Ingmar Bergman

Filmabend mit Ingmar Bergman
This event is available in
German
The classic film dramas by Swedish screenwriter and director Ingmar Bergman (1918-2007) are often intense explorations of interpersonal relationships, their abysses and doubts. After the screening of the black-and-white Swedish psychodrama Persona (1966), film producer Joachim von Vietinghoff and the artistic director of the Deutsche Kinemathek, Rainer Rother, will talk about the significance of Swedish landscapes, in particular the barren island of Fårö, which Bergman discovered for himself in 1960 and made his refuge. Parts of the film Persona were also shot there. The exhibitions can be viewed prior to the event.
