The United Nations (UN) 2030 Agenda with its 17 major Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a comprehensive, programmatic framework for the realization of a globally just and sustainable society. Since their publication in September 2015, they have been regarded as the global community's treaty for the future of the 21st century.

Nine years later and six years before the 2030 target line is reached, it is time to take stock of which goals have already been achieved and how far we are from achieving them. The speaker is Ralf Roschlau. Author and lecturer at the SQ - Center for Sustainability at the University of Konstanz and member of the international network for climate journalism Covering Climate Now.
