Screening of restored amateur films
A meeting proposed by MIRA (Mémoire des Images Réanimées d'Alsace), Cinémathèque régionale numérique, and the Maison du judaïsme rhénan (Pôle du judaïsme rhénan).

MIRA and the Maison du judaïsme rhénan (House of Rhenish Judaism) invite you to discover the daily lives of Rhenish Jewish families through a montage of amateur films from the last century. These sequences will evoke the lives of unknown or famous people from Alsace, who, on a daily basis or in exceptional circumstances, carried the message of Rhineland Jewishness. The screening will feature live commentary by relatives of these families.
