Guided tour - The Neolithic revolution
Over 10,000 years ago, humans settled down in Mesopotamia. This Neolithic revolution in the area of the Fertile Crescent also had an impact on Europe and our region. Why did people give up their mobile way of life as hunter-gatherers? What new challenges, such as diseases or social tensions, did this bring with it? Together with archaeologist Pia Micheels, participants will use regional finds to explore exciting questions about one of the most decisive developments in the history of mankind.
