Hans Theo Baumann has had a decisive influence on design in the Federal Republic of Germany from the post-war period to the present day. His name is closely associated with German design. He has developed designs for more than 50 companies that have been produced for decades - in some cases to this day - and has thus written design history. His textile works for Irisette and Schiesser from the 1970s can be seen in the Museum Weiler Textilgeschichte.
