The pottery courses given by the great ceramist Mathies Schwarze in Oeschgen and his virtuosity in throwing exerted such a fascination on the architect that she increasingly devoted herself to ceramic vessels. The infinite play of volumes and proportions never let her go. Colors and decorations should not be distracting. Monochrome, often matt surfaces concentrate the eye on figures with the same shapes.
