There are not many artists in the Euregio Bodensee who work with light, movement and compressed air in all their artistic, physical and metaphysical, material and immaterial dimensions. Boris Petrovsky, born in Constance in 1967 and working in Radolfzell, is an artist whose artistic approach, exhibitions and prizes have long since made him an international name in the light and media arts.
The exhibition at the Kunstmuseum Singen brings together illuminated objects, light and shadow projections, neon signs, sounds and drawings to form a single, large, performative installation that allows visitors to experience the diversity and dynamics of both this work and the genre. For the first time in a museum exhibition, Petrovsky's new pneumatic objects, which seem like independent beings, are presented in a more comprehensive way.
