Drawing the present
How can we capture the present and tell its story in an era where every day is marked by violence, global upheaval and the breakdown of political structures? This question was the starting point for the "Évidence" exhibition, which brings together four international artists: Mounira Al Solh, Nino Bulling, Neïla Czermak Ichti and Mazen Kerbaj.

All four have a strong preoccupation with history and the question of time and narrative, and have found singular ways of telling the present. Their works adopt personal, subjective, documentary or militant approaches, all reflecting the same strategy: weaving links between the intimate and the political. Through this weave of the everyday, a form of evidence emerges. With their works, which play with the boundaries between illustration and painting, drawing and embroidery, the artists demonstrate the potential of narrative drawing to transgress gender categories.
