Horst Hamann: The Imperial Cathedral of Speyer (photo exhibition)

Photographer Horst Hamann became famous for his photographs of New York skyscrapers under the motto "New York Vertical". Now he has taken on the almost 1000-year-old Speyer Cathedral. As part of a project for the European Imperial Cathedral Foundation in Speyer, he photographed the Romanesque cathedral in his characteristic style. The resulting images in extreme portrait format open up a new perspective on the Speyer landmark and will be on display in the Historical Museum of the Palatinate from May 2025.
