In the immediate vicinity of the imperial cathedral of Speyer, the Historical Museum of the Palatinate presents outstanding temporary exhibitions on topics of archaeology, history, art and culture as well as collection exhibitions on Palatinate history with holdings from the Stone Age to the 20th century. A wide thematic variety, also taking regional interests into account, and the presentation of the latest scientific findings are among the principles of exhibition planning.
The Junge Museum Speyer also provides children and young people with access to historical topics that is both age-appropriate and exciting.
