The Franco-German Historial of the Great War at Hartmannswillerkopf is a historical, memorable and educational institution. It offers a global vision of the First World War by highlighting the specificities of the mountain war, particularly on the Hartmannswillerkopf. The permanent exhibition focuses on duality and then Franco-German friendship, from the individual level, with the relationships forged between the fighters during and after the conflict, to the international ceremonies, notably those of 3 August 2014 presided over by Presidents Gauck and Holland and 10 November 2017, presided over by Presidents Macron and Steinmeier.
