Archaeological excavations in the Blies valley on the French-German border brought to light a Celtic necropolis , a small town and a Roman villa.

The princess' grave (370 BC) with its reconstructed mound is one of the most important burial sites from the Celtic period in central Europe. Visit the interior of the tomb and discover treasures from the archaeological excavations.

Only a few yards from the Roman town with its public baths, craft quarters and basilica, you will find a Roman villa with a huge courtyard area. Impressive archaeological finds illustrate the everyday life of the inhabitants 2 000 years ago.

Discover the objects retrieved by archaeologists during the excavations. The tools and creations of Roman craftsmen, imported exotic products, the furnishings of a Roman house, treasures buried in the ground, make-up and jewelry items, farming tools and monumental decors are all there to be explored.
