Conference - meeting
With Catarina Miranda. In partnership with POLE-SUD CDCN Strasbourg and Unistra.

In connection with the show ΛƬSUMOЯI by Catarina Miranda.
The lecture series offers three encounters between artists invited to POLE-SUD's program and researchers from the University of Strasbourg, with the aim of discovering and questioning singular artistic approaches. This season, Mauro Paccagnella, Alessandro Bernardeschi, Caterina Miranda and Emmanuel Eggermont will be taking part in these conversations.
Catarina Miranda leaves nothing to chance. Her captivating set designs - created in-house - echo her work as a visual artist and choreographer. La Portugaise is inspired by a 15th-century Théâtre nō play. In it, five performers conjure up bad luck in a ritual inspired by popular dances. A luminous stage and a suspended sculpture aestheticize the atmosphere as much as they dilate time, amplifying a play of shadows where bodies dissolve and transform to better coexist.
