Conference - meeting
With Nicolas Labarre, Professor of American Civilization at Bordeaux Montaigne University. As part of the Jean Alessandrini, Aventures alphabétiques tour.

Jean Alessandrini made his debut with Pilote in 1969, at a time when René Goscinny's magazine was undergoing a major transformation, welcoming a more committed approach and a wider range of genres after the shock of May 68. Ten years later, he began a lasting collaboration with J'aime Lire, for the Catholic and much wiser-looking Bayard publishing house. The talk will attempt to draw a link between these two moments, these two publications, to show how Jean Alessandrini built a narrative and graphic work around science fiction, childhood and time, in a crucial decade for children's literature.
