Lectura Dantis

Affiche Lectura Dantis Bnu
This event is available in
French
Lectura Dantis is the Latin name used to indicate the public reading or declamation of Dante Alighieri's verses, with particular reference to the Divine Comedy. A Lectura Dantis comprises the commentary or exegesis of the work, of which the reading or declamation is the climax. "Inferno 2025" is a cycle of six encounters: a descent through Hell in the company of Dante and his verses, Cristiano Nocera and his commentaries, and Gustave Doré and his images. Come and discover the Divine Comedy: one of the greatest works of poetry ever produced, the first major literary work written in a modern European language.
The evening is part of a cycle created by the Lavoro Nero Teatro company and Strasbourg's Italian Cultural Institute. Rencontres (in French), in partnership with the Bnu.
