Concert with Kelsey Maiorano (oboe), Gunta Abele (violoncello) and Cornelia Lenzin (piano)

This concert is a tribute to the two composers and Basel Music Forum co-founders Jürg Wyttenbach and Rudolf Kelterborn, who died in 2021, as well as a presentation of current works by the two Basel-based composers Helena Winkelman and Anita Mieze. In this way, a broad, colorful and varied oeuvre of Basel's musical life of the last 60 years will be presented.

Helena Winkelmann (*1974), "Vis à vis Goya" for cello and piano (2019, Basel premiere); Rudolf Kelterborn (1931-2021), Sonata in one movement for violoncello and piano (1985), "Dreiminutenspiel" for violoncello solo (2003, Swiss premiere) and 5 pieces for oboe and piano (2013); Jürg Wyttenbach (1935-2021), Sonata for oboe solo (1961); Anita Mieze (*1980), "Black Reflections", trio for oboe, violoncello and piano (2022/23, world premiere)
