Open workshop for children aged 8 and over, young people and adults on the occasion of Open Monument Day
In 1848/49, Rastatt was one of the main sites of the Baden Revolution. At that time, citizens and soldiers stood together for basic rights and a constitution. The uprising was crushed and the fight for freedom and basic rights was not commemorated for a long time. It was not until much later that a monument was erected in our city to the freedom fighters of Baden. In the workshop, we will design our own monuments to freedom using a variety of materials.
No registration required, participation free of charge. It is possible to join later or leave earlier.
Participation is free, registration is not required.
