Ishita Chakraborty (*1989) is the winner of the Manor Art Prize Aarau 2024, which is awarded every two years to promote young Swiss art. In her artistic work, Chakraborty deals with displacement, colonial trauma and identity politics. She examines how people who are often marginalized or disadvantaged fight against injustice and speak out about it.
