The new permanent exhibition investigates the phenomenon of collecting things. The urge to collect is an ineffable passion for arranging objects in a specific pattern or order and hunting for desirables. There is almost nothing that cannot be collected. However, what is the meaning of collections for today's society and for our future? Does it make sense to collect things? The exhibition presents regional private collectors as well as collections of the Canton.
